Hi everyone,
We are pleased to announce the release of our first draft of the tracker capture to capture transition kit.
In this first draft, we focus on comparing the core functionality of tracker capture to that of capture. This includes comparisons between these two apps, describing how an operation in tracker capture is now performed in capture; along with an introduction of new features available in the capture app.
In this transition kit, we have compiled the following resources (click on the item to open the link to the resource):
- The complete transition kit guidance document
- Video overviews of the core capture features
- Training guidance to support the introduction of capture*
- A presentation template showing comparisons between tracker capture and capture features*
*note: it is best to modify these templates using examples from your local system when presenting to a local audience
The main purpose of this document and associated resources is to assist the DHIS2 community in moving from the tracker capture to the capture app. We understand this adjustment will vary in length and difficulty depending on local circumstances and will continue to provide guidance and updates on this topic.
We already have plans for updating this transition kit to include more information on custom forms, plugins, managing the continuous release and advanced features such as program access levels; so stay tuned for more information!
