Question on completed events field in pivot table page

Hello,
We are trying to use program indicators in charts and reports. We observed that there is an option ‘Include only completed events’ under ‘options’ menu pivot table page. We were not able to find any documentation for this. Could you please tell us or any reference about completed events and how do I complete existing events?

Cheers,

Hari krishna

Hi Hari!
An event can be completed in the tracker and event capture user interfaces, usually as the last step of the data entry process. When the event is completed - by clicking the complete event button - it will be moved from its current status to the complete status.

Based on your programs configuration the events data might become locked when the event is completed, and no further change can be performed while the event is residing in the completed status. The completed status can also be useful for filtering and reporting. The functional meaning of completing an event is mainly depending on your context. You asked about competing old events - are you planning to start using the completed status in an ongoing project that has not already used it?
