Hello all,
It seems to me several types of functionality are under discussion. StatPlanet is to my mind an exciting way to present DHIS2 Report Table data - and something that can be implemented in the next version, 2.0.5 as we improve the export to XML and transformations, as the StatPlanet format is open (CSV).
We are also interested in incorporating the India-developed dashboard functionality into the trunk.
By R-stat, I take it we are referring to integrating R with DHIS 2 http://www.r-project.org/ .This is also something we have been wanting to do, but have not had time to. http://rosuda.org/mondrian/ looks like a nice addition to it?
.
I copy this to the DHIS 2 developers list, dhis2-devs@lists.launchpad.net. As 2.0.4 is close to completion, discussion about priorities for the next versions are now very appropriate.

Hi John,
There is another interesting package that work with R-Stat – Mondrian statistics. See http://rosuda.org/mondrian/
- might be also a nice tool for integration.

Hi Hynek,
It is a flash interface which combines the data from csv and shape file. What we can do is to generate the a CVS file which the DHIS2 database and we can see all the interesting thing from this. We are trying to integrate the DHIS2 module with this.

Well, that will be nearly optimal. But still, filtering by selected attribute(type, code, name, group membership) might be also very useful.
Please keep me informed about development plan, e.g. if this functionality will be implemented or not and if yes, then when.

In the result graph there are columns corresponding to the organization units that doesn’t report selected data element. So, how can we select only those organization units, that report (except of the option to select them one by one)? Is it possible to combine a particular org. unit (Barisal division) with orgunit group as a filter (meaning only members of the group) or use type of OU as a filter?
May be we can have some dataelement - orgunit group association to know that whether particular dataelement relates to that orgunit group or not.
but again this functionality is not there in DHIS, need to develop
