PIVOTS WEEK NUMBERS WRONG

Dear All,

I need help understanding why our DHIS2 instance shows the same week number for consecutive weeks when you run pivots? This is making it difficult for users to understand the data. We are still using 2.28.

Hello,

Are you facing something similar to this Jira issue?

https://jira.dhis2.org/browse/DHIS2-3112

If yes, according to that jira entry it has been solved. Maybe worth updating to the latest war file?

All the best,

Bernard

Exactly the same issue. Thank you for the guide. We just recently deployed our very first DHIS2 2.28 and still stabilizing so it will take a bit of time before we upgrade to 2.30. I’ll still create a local instance and start testing the latest version.

Thanks once more.

Hi Walusiku,

What Bernard meant is not that you should immediately upgrade to 2.30 (though that is a good goal to have), but that you should download a new version of 2.28, since bugs like this are getting fixed all the time.

Knut

Thank you.

The last war file on https://www.dhis2.org/downloads was released on 11.10.2017 which is before I downloaded the version we are currently using. Do I just re-download it or there is a different location for the updated war file?

Thank you.

Please do download the latest war, because it is updated every day.

The release date is actually the initial date 2.28 was released but on daily basis, the war file is updated with patches.

All the best,

Bernard

Very well noted. Thank you. Please don’t get tired, we are new to DHIS2 and still getting to understand a number of issues.

Thank you once more.

To get a better view of exactly when the latest war was built (and deployed) you can have a look here.

https://ci.dhis2.org/

For example for 2.29, the latest version was built 21 hours ago (when I write this email)

To get download links from here, you can just click on the project. For example for dhis2-2.29 would take you here:

https://ci.dhis2.org/job/dhis2-2.29/

And there is a link there called “dhis.war”
