OU selector tree

Hello team,

My question is related to ou selector, sorry but couldn´t find anything concrete either here or Jira.

Let´s say we have a program at level 4, users want to see the tree to select the level 4 ou, however if the program is just enabled in level 4 higher level are not shown. A workaround could be to enable the program at those levels but not recommended.

Yes, it’s not recommend it to assign the program to those levels unless data entry in those higher levels is expected.

However, could you show me a screenshot where the users are not able to see the tree?

Thanks for your response, problem is happening in the android application, if we don’t enable the higher level they dont show when selecting the OU.

Just to provide more context, when we are at the locality level, VCT can see 2 or 3 localities with the same name, since the parent is not showing in the tree they dont know where to register the information.

Hola @waviles !

At the moment, the only reliable way to differentiate these is by adjusting the naming convention (adding a prefix, suffix, or code to the organisation unit names, for example). We already have a ticket for this request: ANDROAPP-7027. While it is not yet on the roadmap, the team is aware of it and this will be the place to follow progress and updates.
