There are always local universities that do research related to HIS and DHIS2, so you’re welcome to share your findings here too!
Also, I’ve noticed that the Gambia has been known for the EMIS/Education stories and implementation, would this be something you are interested in? In this page you can see at least 7 education action research publications from the Gambia, Action Research - DHIS2. I would suggest to connect with these researchers and get some insights from them.
