Ethical AI in Practice Course

AI is already shaping how social impact organisations (SIOS)––including non-profits, academic and research institutions and governments––deliver services and make decisions. But how do we ensure its use is ethical, inclusive, and responsible?

In this free, introductory, self-paced course (2–3 hours), you will explore practical approaches to ethical AI so that you can:

  • Understand the fundamentals of AI and its social impact potential

  • Navigate risks like bias, exclusion, and misinformation

  • Explore governance frameworks for responsible AI use in government

This is a modular, mobile and offline-ready course with downloadable resources. Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate on completion. All the course content is licensed under CC BY 4.0 license for your organisation’s adaptation and localisation.

In today’s data-driven world, understanding how to manage data responsibly is crucial.

In this introductory, self-paced course (2–3 hours) designed to equip social impact organisations (SIOS)––including non-profits, academic and research institutions and governments––with foundational knowledge on responsible data practices, you will learn to:

  • Identify key responsible data principles, concepts, and associated risks.

  • Understand the relevance of responsible data across the data life cycle.

  • Recognize common data-related risks and practical mitigation strategies.

  • Review global regulatory frameworks.

  • Learn to handle personal and sensitive information responsibly.

Este curso Avanzado en Inteligencia Artificial es diseñado para personas hispanohablantes que trabajan en organizaciones de impacto social (OIS), , les ayuda a ir más allá de lo básico y:

  • Explorar las aplicaciones prácticas de la IA para la prestaciĂłn de servicios pĂşblicos.

  • Comprender las tendencias, riesgos y oportunidades emergentes.

  • Desarrollar confianza para evaluar e interactuar con herramientas y polĂ­ticas de IA.

Desarrollado en español, en colaboración con Data Elevates, este curso apoya a los gobiernos que buscan fortalecer la alfabetización digital y la fluidez en IA en sus equipos.

El curso gratuito, lo pueden seguir a su propio ritmo, es modular, móvil y sin conexión, con recursos descargables. Todo el contenido del curso está licenciado bajo la licencia CC BY 4.0 para su adaptación y localización en su organización. Disponible solo en español. Los participantes que lo completen recibirán un certificado al finalizarlo.
