One useful common tip I have identified during the customization of forms into OIMS, worth sharing here as a reminder and emphasis:

During customization of a particular of any Form into DHIS2 (OIMS), it is very practical and reliable to always follow the “Naming Culture” process.
The naming culture is a used way of clearly outlining your Data Elements, Option Sets or TEAs according to the Program you are trying to set up. it is useful to use initials of the program when setting up Data Elements..etc. A good practice that is being commonly used with DHIS2.
Eg: IRDS_Patient Name:
By doing so, it is quicker and very convenient to identify your data set and select or align efficiently.
We continue to see major progress in Papua New Guinea’s DHIS2 utilization with the OIMS instance (fhi.dev and production instance) for: Case-based Surveillance for COVID-19, HIV Patient Data Base (HPDB), CLM, and Integrated Respiratory Disease Surveillance- and we hope to express interest in support for the recent Polio Outbreak in the Country. :papua_new_guinea:

Thank you for sharing these insights with the community. Nice start with the community spirit.

Sorry to hear about the recent polio outbreak, and I hope Papua New Guinea will overcome all these challenges rapidly, and it’s great to know that you see progress in the local DHIS2 implementations.
