On programe deletion "Transaction rolled back because it has been marked as rollback-only OK"

Dear All,

I am trying to delete a tracker programe the I get an error saying “Transaction rolled back because it has been marked as rollback-only OK”

Can someone please guide me how to delete this tracker program.

Hi @udakaya

It’s usually not easy to delete metadata once it’s connected to data values. Are you trying to delete the entire program along with its data values?

If you only want to delete the metadata configuration of the program and not the entire program with the values, I would recommend to do the following instead:

  1. Unassign all OU assignments and access
  2. Remove any data elements and attributes
  3. Rename program to ‘deleted’

If that’s not really helpful, may I ask if you tried to delete the Tracker program using the Import / Export app? Export the programs metadata then remove all the programs except for this one then delete through import, and if you get the same or different error please report back here.
