Odd Reporting rates summary

Hi

I need to make a report where a I could see the Actual and Expected Reports for a defined number of DataSets and OrgUnits.

In the Beginning I was using the Reporting Rate in Reports functionality, but then I used Pivot Tables to get the same values.

What I found out is that the pivot tables and Reporting Rate in Reports functionality are showing different values for most of the DataSets and OtgUnits

My questions are:

  • Why are the two (2) methods giving me different results?
  • Which one of them is correct?

Best regards

Dear Joao,

Does this happen after the analytics have run?

Reporting rates pick real-time data while pivot tables use data after analytics have run.

Hi Prosper

The analytics are scheduled to run everyday at 12AM.

Based on your answer, is safe to say that forms are still being “submitted”?

Best regards

When analytics run reporting rates will be updated and pivot tables will reflect the actual results.

But you are right I also tested with previous reporting rates, there is a slight difference that need to be investigated.

Hello Colleagues,

I have related issues.

  1. In DHIS2, i closed (not deleted) some facilities. When i generate reporting rate summary (i.e. the percentage of facilities that reported), it does not deduct the closed facilities in the denominator. Is there way to adjust the denominator for reporting summary rate?
  2. Is it possible to see a list of facilities with a completed data set using the report application without looking at the data entry forms and/or pivot table?

Thanks.
