No analysis table generated after do analysis job

I have do analysis table manually , and reorting success. but only analytics and analytics_2023 tables generated. there are many programs (which maybe no events), but no program related analytics table generated.
do chart visual , report:
Something went wrong
Query failed because a referenced table does not exist. Please ensure analytics job was run (SqlState: 42P01)

I don’t know why.

Hi @linxd
You maybe can try to clear the analytics tables and run them again. Open the Data Administration app, then choose “Maintenance” and tick “Clear analytics tables”, then click “Perform maintenance”.

After that, try and do a full run of analytics by choosing “Analytics tables” from the left side menu, be sure that all boxes are not ticked, and click “Start export”.

You should carefully monitor the logs of the server to see if there are any errors during the analytics process.

The log makes it pretty clear that there is no event data, thus this stage of the analytics process is skipped entirely.

that’s true ,many programs have no events. but some programs have few events which I have entered to test .

I recently encountered a similar issue.

I was able to rebuild the report, but saving it as a favorite failed due to the presence of “N/A” in the event report output. These “N/A” values were likely representing null or deleted values. By filtering only for the options within the option set, I managed to save the favorite.

This suggests that the initial event report was possibly looking for null values (shown as “N/A”) which it couldn’t locate. This behavior seems unintended.

Here are some fixes or workarounds:

  1. Recreate the event report favorite: Ensure you filter for the options within the option set before saving it.
  2. Fix the original favorite without creating a new one: Export the favorite, insert the necessary filters into the payload (see snapshot), and reimport it using merge mode as REPLACE.

What if after all of this, the analysis job that runs using cron job still cant run?

I’ve just upgraded my instance to v2.41.1
