New version of the Modeling app (4.0.0) and Chap (1.2.0)

We are pleased to release a new version of Chap (v1.2.0) and the Modeling app (v4.0.0). This update includes numerous bug fixes, performance improvements, and new functionality developed over the past three months.

Note that Chap and the Modeling app are both still in beta. They are both under active development and the included models may give bad predictions.

Highlights

  • New Chap CLI commands validate and eval (evaluate is now deprecated)
  • Modeling app fixes and improvements including
    • Dataset download
    • Correct sorting for split periods and org units in evaluation details screen
    • Experimental settings with feature toggles

Compatibility notes

In order to use Modeling app v4.0.0, you must have minimum Chap v1.1.5.

To upgrade:

  • The Modeling app can be updated directly through DHIS2 using the app hub
  • For Chap, please read and follow the upgrade guide.
