Hi everyone!

I’m happy to share that the latest release of the BAO Import Foundry (BIF) v1.3.6 is now available.

This release brings full compatibility with DHIS2 v42 (while maintaining backward compatibility with v39 – v41).

:warning: Important Note on Installation: Please note that this version is not built on the new DHIS2 App Runtime (Global Shell). Because of this, it is currently not available on the DHIS2 App Hub.

Instead, you must download the release directly from our website and install it manually: :backhand_index_pointing_right: Download BIF v1.3.6

New Enhancements:

  • DHIS2 v42 Support: We’ve ensured BIF works seamlessly with the latest major DHIS2 version.
  • Multiple User Group Import: You can now assign more than one user group to a user during the import process, giving you greater flexibility.
  • Contextual Error Messages: We’ve improved the feedback for modules. You will now see clearer, more helpful messages if something goes wrong, making troubleshooting much faster.

I am so excited about this. I have really been missing BIF in the newer versions of DHIS2. Well done @BAO_Systems
