Need to update Android translation

Would it be possible to update translation files for Russian in Android? We have added some translation updates recently, so we are expecting to see them on the next app update.

Hi @Ulanbek ,

We are about to release the major new versions (for both Core and Android) later today, and they have been frozen for testing for several weeks, so it is unlikely they will include your translations.
However, they should be included in subsequent patches of the Android app.

Thank you for your reply. @phil would it be possible to make a patch for Android app with translation? we have invested a lot of time and effort for our users. They really need those translation updates

Hi @Ulanbek ,

I’m afraid the Android team aren’t planning the next patch (v3.2.1) before the beginning of July.

Unfortunately we cannot create patches on demand given all of the implementations that are supported. It is of course open source, and can be built by anyone for their own needs; although I appreciate the technical expertise to manage the build and deployment independently is naturally too challenging for many implementations.
