Colleagues,

Is it possible to select multiple options from a single dropdown in DHIS2? This would reduce the need for multiple data elements. If this functionality exists, please share instructions. If not, is this a feature worth considering for future development?

Yes, you can create a data element with type (Text with Multiple Values):

The Allergies (multi-select) is a good example in Login app | DHIS2 .

Thank you so much for the quick feedback.However, what version is this? I am using 2.40.5 and i can not see this option under “Value Type”
