Metadata import stuck on loading screen

When importing metadata, it seems to be stuck on the loading screen even though the new records seem to have already been created. Seems like we would have to always refresh the page afterwards. This only happens when the file imported is bigger, with fewer items, the summary table gets displayed right away.

@wtum can you check network logs inside Chrome Network Tab It might give some hint on some backend or frontend errors.
