Additional coordinates in Event layers - Org unit value type TEAs/DEs and org unit location | Jira | Docs | v101.4.0
In the Data tab you will now find extended possibilities for the Coordinate field. In addition to the already existing “Event location” (default), “Enrollment location” and “Tracked entity location”, or Coordinate-type data elements or attributes, you can now also choose:
-
“Organisation unit location” which will map the events using the Organisation unit they have been captured in
-
Organisation-unit-type data elements or attributes such as a “Referral facility”, “Place of infection” etc. Note: Only available for patch releases 40.8+, 41.4+ and 42.0+.
Note that Organisation units are represented by their centroids in the Maps app. We have also implemented a system setting orgUnitCentroidsInEventsAnalytics (Jira) when enabled will create analytics event tables with a centroid value for each Data Element or TEA of type OU or OU Geometry. This has potential performance improvements and analytics table storage optimizations. This will not affect the Maps app showing centroids or not.
Style by data item in event layer improvements | Jira | v101.2.12
The event layers also received multiple improvements when style by data item in the Style tab |
-
Properly handle and distinguish values outside of defined legend categories or missing values as “Other”.
-
Properly handle data types AGE and TRUE_ONLY as well as option sets.
-
Improved values display in event popups.
-
Always count the number of events per category and when no styling is applied.
Bubble layer enhancements | Jira1 | Jira2 | Jira3 | Jira4 | v101.3.1
Multiple improvements to bubble layers
-
Display min, mid and max values in legend and correct sizes for bubbles.
-
Display “No data” item in legend.
