I have seen at least 5 DHIS2 national level implementation and the number of Elements vary from 2000-5000. Thinking of LMIS implementation, countries have 1000+ products generally in the supply chain. If we even have the minimum elements - Opening, Receive, Issue, Adjustment & Closing - that will be 5000 Elements. The Elements increase proportionately and sometimes may be displayed in one page (as report etc).
DHIS2 LMIS team - have you thought of the load that LMIS will put over the DHIS2 (which I guess is more than double of all the patient MIS)…how to handle that?
