This conference will balance both discussion and information sharing as well as learning technical skills through the use of parallel sessions.
Discussion sessions will include:
- Review of the latest DHIS2 features: Using the latest version of DHIS2, we will provide a background on the latest DHIS2 features and how they can potentially support your DHIS2 implementation.
- Country updates: Countries within the Asia Pacific region will provide an overview of current implementation efforts, successes and challenges. These discussions will be led by local Ministries.
- DHIS2 Climate and Health: Review the features in DHIS2 that support the addition of climate data and hear from countries that are implementing these features in their own settings.
- Cross sector collaboration: Discuss how DHIS2 can be used across different sectors within a single implementation. Examples include education, civil registration and health.
- Partner collaboration: Hear from development partners and how they are supporting DHIS2 implementations within the region.
- ICD-11 for mortality and morbidity: Review how collaborations with CDC and WHO have led to innovations in collecting and codifying mortality and morbidity data in DHIS2.
While technical sessions will focus on:
- The development and maintenance of client health registries: Review how to implement and maintain a reference list of all of the individuals in a country that can be used in DHIS2 as well as other systems.
- Interoperability: Review the requirements to set up interoperability between DHIS2 and other systems as well as examples of interoperability that have been set up in the field.
- Visualisation Tools and Data Quality: Review the features that can be used to visualise data in DHIS2 and discuss how these tools can support the routine review of data.
