Line Listing app - Unable to find user documentation

Thanks for this great app? Apart from the video and release notes, I am not able to find the user guidance in the usual DHIS2 documentation:

The Line Listing app will be added as a Core App in 2.38.1 release and probably by then the docs will be updated as well, so you are right, currently the docs still need to be updated.

Like you mentioned the currently available info are the release notes as well as info and video shared on the website. Thank you!

New Line Listing app: A new Line Listing app is developed for compatibility with DHIS 2.38 and will be released soon via the App Hub. This new application is a massive improvement for producing line lists of tracked entities in DHIS2 over the event reports application. The new line listing application replicated all of the line listing functionalities of the event reports app, and it has a completely new, much improved user experience that makes it much easier for users to make a line list of tracked entities. It also includes many new features. A list of some of the key new features:

• Visualizing multiple repeating events: You are now able to produce a line list that can display data from multiple repeating stage for a single tracked entity. You can specify how many repeated stages you would like to see data from. This is useful for many health and education programs by enabling the visualization of data captured repeatedly over time for a single patient or student.

• New tracker specific period dimensions: In the new Line Listing application you can produce a linelist showing enrollment date, event date, and/or incident date. These can be each defined, sorted, and shown together in a single line list.

• Created by and Last updated by: This allows you to see the user name of the user that has either created the enrollment or the user that has last updated the data for the tracked entity.

Hi there! I was also looking for line listing app docs today, and as it happens 2.38.1 was released yesterday. However I didn’t see the line list app or docs there. Does that mean it is now 2.38.2? Thank you.

Does the “NEW” line listing app replace the existing functionality of the event reports line list? What happens to existing line list visualizations on dashboards?

Edit: think I found the answer to my second question here in the new documentation:

NOTE

There will be a forward compatibility with the Event Reports app, which means that you can open the existing event reports of type line list in the Line Listing app, but you cannot save them with the same name in the Line Listing app.
