This month’s DHIS2 developer meetup will take place on Thursday, January 30 at 11:00 CET
At this meeting we have two very exciting topics to discuss -
First, @kpvandivier will give an update on the latest App Platform release - version 12 - which adds support for React 18 and uses Vite for a MUCH nicer developer experience. @dhis2/cli-app-scripts v12 is officially released and ready for use in your DHIS2 web apps! Come learn about the new features and some migration steps you can follow to take advantage of them.
Second, @Diana_N will take us through the recent process she went through to develop a completely new Data Store app! This will be a HUGE improvement over the previous Data Store app - including brand new support for the User Data Store and a fresh new interface. Diana will also share how we used the DHIS2 developer toolchain to quickly iterate through multiple functional app prototypes before arrive at what we think is a great final design. The data store is increasingly an essential component of many DHIS2 extensions built by you, the developer community, so we’d love your feedback on the new app!
