Issues with DHIS2 Calendar Settings

Dear Experts,

I am experiencing difficulties with the DHIS2 calendar settings. I assumed the Ethiopian calendar would be fully functional in the latest version. After changing the system calendar to Ethiopian, I encountered the following issues:

  1. Tracker Capture: The calendar displays correctly, but I get an error when trying to select the 13th month.
  2. Capture App: The calendar has not changed and remains in the Gregorian format.

Note:

  • DHIS2 Version: 2.40.4.1
  • Capture-app Version - 101.21.1
  • No data has been registered in the system yet.

I’ve attached screenshots of the errors for reference.

Hi @kasahun54
The Capture App is soon getting an update to support non-gregorian calendar. We are hoping it would be released sometime in February. Until then, Capture App does not have non-gregorian calendar support.

what about the tracker capture app has an error in the 13 month in Ethiopian calendar

Hi @kasahun54

To the best of my knowledge, the legacy Tracker Capture app isn’t receiving any updates anymore because it has been replaced by the Capture app.
