Is it possible to display DE in columns in a section of a program Stage (in Capture web & Android)?

In a implementation, we would like to have, within a program stage section, Data Elements (DEs) in columns, so related DEs are visually connected (like vaccination type and vaccination date). We were able to do that using custom forms (see screenshot), but it is not working on Android and it implies a tech debt.

Do you know if this is possible using current capabilities of DHIS2? If not, is this something that can be requested to be included in the roadmap of DHIS2? Are more people on the same situation ?

It looks like this is a general feature request (Jira) mentioned by others (@Pablo_Del_Medico , @Felipe_Millacura ).

It seems that the ticket above is created as a feature request but I think it might be a good idea to revive it by creating an idea (see ideas).
