We are using DHIS-2 in Pakistan for Malaria for the last 5 years, and we do stratification every other year, as well as the ITN campaigns. I think this would be useful for us, but again, the data sources are a big question that needs to be addressed.
To enhance our capabilities, we can leverage advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms. Specifically, these technologies can be applied for robust malaria outbreak prediction and for highly accurate detection of the malaria disease from microscopic slide images, significantly improving diagnostics and public health response.
