Hi Everybody,
I saw in DHSI2 a feature of importing CSV file. Is it possible to import data like Organisation Unit or Data element directly in DHIS2 using CSV file?if possible how this CSV file can be organised to match the format in the database? and could you give me the format that this CSV file can have for the data elements for example.

Unfortunately, csv import is just for data, not metadata. Then Jason’s earlier reply applies.

I have tried to import meta data using CSV but it doesn’t work. I have read the document on http://www.dhis2.org/doc/snapshot/en/user/html/ch21s04.html and *I have made a CSV file which is attached on this mail. Could you give me more details on how to do.

This is “tab delimited” text, and not comma delimited text, and will therefore not work. Also, be sure you are using the latest development snapshot.
