After creating the tracker program and following all the required steps, I encountered an issue when launching the Tracker Capture app. Specifically, I am receiving the error message “Failed to load metadata.”
Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? I have double-checked the steps and configurations but have not been able to identify the cause of the problem.
What version of DHIS2 are you using? Have you also tried the Capture app?
You need to make sure that the user has capture access to the OU, at least one program and program stages in that OU.
Please use the Data Administration app → Maintenance to ‘clear application cache’ and ‘reload apps’, and the Browser Cache Cleaner app to clear the browser cache. After that double check using your browser’s Guest mode to make sure that it’s not a cache issue.
If the above doesn’t work, right before you open the Tracker Capture app, open the Network tab in the Browser DevTools (F12) and check for the issue. Get the request and response from that issue and share it please (you can remove the base URL).
