How to Import Category in XML format from previous versions which has no shortName now that it is a required field?

I Am trying to import Category in XML format from DHIS2 version 2.33.8 which has no shortName into DHIS2 version 2.36.3 instance.

Can someone guide me on what to do to resolve these issues? Any ideas.

Hello Daniel,
You can modify the XML file to include the shortName attribute and then re-import it into the latest version. See an example below:

If you’re going to add shortNames to a large number of categories, I recommend using the CSV format.
