How to create a WMS, TMS or XYZ file from QGIS for an External Map Layer

Hello,

My goal is to create a custom map in QGIS, and upload it to dhis2 as an ‘External map layer.’ I understand how to make maps in QGIS, but am having a difficult time understanding how to create a WMS, TMS, or XYZ file to be able to upload it to dhis. Has anyone had success finding good documentation or resources on how to do this?
