During the course of the GSOC program all my internships end and i will have my semester break so will be able to put in at least 30 hours a week on this project.
I have good experience in Java mostly with coding for android applications(url to apps above). I have developed 2 social networks till date, so i have a good grasp of web technologies. Mostly Python(Django) and of-course Javascript for the dynamic front-end. I have developed a few applications with PhoneGap but those were mostly for demo purposes for my college projects.
I am also proficient with Photoshop so i am also good with designing UIs.
The two social networks i have developed along with a team of 2 other friends of mine are :

http://ilike.im <http://ilike.im/>The above sites extensively use JSON to communicate asynchronously from the front end to the Tornado/Django server on the back-end. Hence i feed i have the desired skills along with android development to successfully complete this project.
