Dear Long Ngo,

My name is Abhishek S, I am currently doing my 4th year of Computer Science And Engineering at RVCE, Bangalore, India.
I am currently interning at Microsoft Research India, developing a framework for game data management for mobile devices.
I am very interested in the project "Mobile application for Health worker workplan" and i think i am the right person for the job because
i have developed applications on the android platform and also have good experience in the usage of data formats such as JSON and XML.
Url to my android app store account: https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=synQroid&hl=en

I work most optimal in a rapid development cycle with smaller goals that can be achieved in a shorter span of time, always keeping in mind the big picture at all times.
I will structure my work by breaking up the given project into smaller parts and assign deadlines to these goals.
I can be held accountable for my work as i will make sure i get my code reviewed by my mentor at-least weekly or bi-weekly so that i know where i stand in my progress and quality of work.
During the course of the GSOC program all my internships end and i will have my semester break so will be able to put in at least 30 hours a week on this project.
I have good experience in Java mostly with coding for android applications(url to apps above). I have developed 2 social networks till date, so i have a good grasp of web technologies. Mostly Python(Django) and of-course Javascript for the dynamic front-end. I have developed a few applications with PhoneGap but those were mostly for demo purposes for my college projects.
I am also proficient with Photoshop so i am also good with designing UIs.
The two social networks i have developed along with a team of 2 other friends of mine are :
http://incog.im <http://incog.im/> (we sold it to a bangalore based start-up moslty used for their internal feedback system )
http://ilike.im <http://ilike.im/>

The above sites extensively use JSON to communicate asynchronously from the front end to the Tornado/Django server on the back-end. Hence i feed i have the desired skills along with android development to successfully complete this project.

My preferred method of contact is by 1:E-mail 2:IM 3:IRC .(if required 4:Skype)
