Fully implementing translation of database language

Hi again all,

Our project is progressing well and we are no preparing Swahili translations of Data Elements and other objects so, when a Database Language of Swahili is set in the user settings, they will see as much as possible in that language.

However, I cannot see how to provide a Swahili equivalent of Yes/No for the Ye/No data type, nor can I see how to provide Swahili translations of prompts like “Enter number” or “Enter text” or “Date” in the android mobile app or indeed the desktop Capture app. Is it possible for me to provide translations for these? If so, what am I missing?

Hi @swoodworth,

Great to hear that you are making a progress in your project! Yes, it’s possible to translate the whole thing to another language. For example, go to https://play.dhis2.org/2.35.14 and change the language to Chinese. You will see 99% Chinese! :smiley:
