fonts for the older programmer

There was an interesting thread on comp.lang.tcl recently about
programming fonts. Which got me thinking .. after a particularly late
night squinting at the difference between ( and { I found myself
fiddling around (again) with different fonts, looking for the most
comfortable environment. You would think by now I would have decided
on something but the truth is I just keep switching. I think there is
a difference between night and day programming as well as programming
on the big LCD monitor or squinting at the little laptop.
(M-X-color-theme-select gets heavy use in my emacs mini buffer)

Anyway here's a survey of programming fonts
Font Survey: 42 of the Best Monospaced Programming Fonts - CodeProject.

Does anybody have any strong preferences?

Cheers
Bob

PS. people under 40 need not reply

Notice how only the youngsters replied! I think you're supposed to be settled by now, Bob.

To get the mean age up, I can disclose that I'm boring enough that I still use Monaco 11(10) pt...
