Hi there,
Maybe there is a simple answer… but is there a way to export a DataSet form as an Excel file? This would help us do versioning control with what we have.

Hi @dmnscar,
I would recommend you use the Import/ Export App as .CSV
for this since it’s easier to migrate to another instance. you have the option of using the pivot table too… it will allow you to format your data as you want.
Best,
James.
Hi James,
Thanks for your reply. I was hoping for an export function like it is currently to PDF, that can be done within the DataSet so it exports it as a form (with the Data Elements, Category Combinations, values etc.).
I had a look at the Import/Export app but that is not very user-friendly (at least not straight ‘out-of-the-box’). Also with the Pivot Tables as it requires some manual tweaking to get the format the same as the DataSet.
Maybe I should raise a JIRA ticket for the Devs to look at implementing this change to DHIS2 itself?
