Expanded digital inclusion in Mali: Optimizing reach of DHIS2 to meet national immunization goals

The Digital Results Improve Vaccine Equity and Demand (DRIVE Demand) project—supported by The Rockefeller Foundation, PATH’s Digital Square Initiative, and MOHSD—adapted DHIS2 to enable SMS and audio messages, facilitating contact between providers and patients and conducted research on hyper-local vaccine hesitancy/acceptance for improved outreach toward national immunization goals. DRIVE Demand was initiated to improve COVID-19 and routine immunization outreach, especially for “zero dose” babies and their caregivers, yet modification of the global good and project findings may be used for other health areas including future climate health needs. The session will share the adaptation process, and research findings, and engage in discussion.
