Event Reports data can be restricted Catgeorywise customs filter

Dear All,

I have created one category option groupset with the 4 value of Category option and I used these in event reports has filter for data.

Is there any way to restricted event report data to Category option filter wise.
(For eg: If users belong to some PUI category option then he or she can select PUI option in the Filter.)

I think this can be achieved with useroles setting. each option can be assigned a role. this can restrict access to what a user can see.

But I am not talking about option group its categoryoption group set which is used in event reports as filter.
