I use event capture for my survey data. I only record month and year of the survey, so for “Incident date” section I clicked 1st date of the month. But I just realize that every time I move to another orgunit and go back, the date is changing. To visualize:
I register new event on ‘Biak Numfor’ orgunit, it is on April 2008. I set the date to April 1st
I save and go back, and it is still normal. Incident data: 2008-04-01, Location: Saba
Because the event for this orgunit is done, I move to the orgunit. Then I go back to ‘Biak Numfor’ orgunit, this happen. See the date is changing to 2008-03-31 for Saba location
I export all event data that I’ve been entered, and the date is also changing.
Even if I entered the date into 2008-04-02, it will change to 2008-04-01.
Anybody can explain why this is happening? Will it lead to another problem?
If it is related to the mentioned bug, a workaround is to use GMT+0 in your local machine.

This is on DHIS2 v2.21 build revison 21070.
I think this is exactly what I experienced. I run DHIS2 on my laptop. By local machine, does this mean that I have to change my time setting to GMT +0 on my laptop?
Is this problem only occur on v2.21? Because when I try it on demo, I do not see this.

Until the bug is fixed using GMT+0 on your local machine settings is the only workaround that I know of. I think it happens in all versions of DHIS. The demo site runs on a server with a GMT+0 locale, so that is why you dont see the bug there.
