Error When Saving A Custom DataSet/Custom Data Entry Form

Hi Devs,

I am having an exception whilst I am trying to save the html + javascript code in the attached html document.

Error:

The code in the html document has no errors and it has been successfully used to create other similar custom datasets which have fewer data elements ( hence fewer input cells).

But in particular, for this attached dataset I have failed to save it to allow me to view the corresponding data entry form.

Tomcat logs with more error details have been attached.

What is the issue??

Some Characteristics of the Data Entry Form

  •    Data Elements with a matrix of 31 Day cell columns for capturing data

  •    Number of input cells : 8029 cells.

  •    Frozen data element name column

  •    Number of data element rows : 259

I’ve looked at the error log, but it’s the usual java gibberish with no clear reference to the cause of the error that I can see, and since nobody else have responded it’s likely nobody has a clue.

Try to split that data set into two sections - the first with all the inpatient data elements, and the second section starting from “OPD…” and down to the end. Call the sections Hosp Daily Page1 and Hosp Daily page2 or something like that. Then try to save those forms

If that works, it sort of indicates that there’s a max constraint at work. Similar to MS Access - you cannot have action events for more than around 8,000 cells in an Access data entry form either.
