ERROR: provided server url is not a DHIS Instance

Hi all,

I am trying to log in to DHIS 2 play on my tablet, but I am getting this error: provided server url is not a DHIS Instance

This is the URL I have typed: - https://play.dhis2.org/2.36.7/dhis-web-commons/security/login.action

Is there anything wrong>

Hi @hernandezmachava,
This is most probably the browser cache or an issue in the browser! Please clear the browser cache (try a different browser in incognito/private mode to make sure whether it’s the cache or not because if it works in the incognito/private mode then it’s the cache!). Make sure in your tablet that you are using HTTPS and that you’re well connected to the internet. Good luck! :man_playing_water_polo:

Hi @Gassim.
in web I am able to log in, but on the tablet no. I generated QR Code using the following URL, downloaded the QR code and printed it. Now I didn’t type the url , I scanned the code but it still shows the same error. I am connected to the internet.

Hi @hernandezmachava.

The url provided is the url for web login page, but the server url is just https://play.dhis2.org/2.36.7 . Please try with this url instead and let us know.

Thanks for the update! Are you using the android app on your tablet or the a web browser? If you’re using the Android app then please follow @vgarciabnz post because I thought you were using a web browser on your tablet. (:
