I have provided a new user for data entry into capture app and set privileges according to the requirement. I have attached a picture with it.
In the first data entry box, I have set the value to unique but when I enter the value it displays “error encountered during field validation”.
What is the field type? Is it number? Does it happen if you enter a smaller number suc as 1234 only? I don’t think this has to do with the authorities as much as the configuration.

The field type is Text. It doesnot work even when I enter smaller number only. The issue is there is no problem when I run Capture app from Admin. The issue only occurs when I run the capture app from the custom user setting. The issue doesnot occur when I provide Full Authority to the user but when give Full Authority to the user, the system shows all the apps. I dont want the user to see other Apps and only run Tracker Capture and Capture App. How do I make this possible?

Do you see a sensible error message if you open the browser inspector (F12) and select the console tab?
could u check the sharing function of this data element?
I think you should
Create a user group and create a role for the user.
And set Tracker Capture and Capture only.
I solved the issue , I need to provide access for all the Tracker Entity Attributes related to Tracker Capture Program
