DHIS2 Tracker Capture at Scale – Who Else is Implementing?

Hi @Abdullah-Khan

It’s great hearing from you from the start of your initiative and wishing you all the best in the roll out. You’ve posted in the right place (and timing, btw)!

Nice timing because the DHIS2 nutrition page has just been announced: DHIS2 for Nutrition: Explore the new webpage! In the DHIS2 for Nutrition, you will find linked a couple of CoP posts that you can reply to with any specific questions. At the end of the page there are links to Resources & Documentation, too!

Another point to consider is to look at other Tracker implementations (including those that are not specifically Nutrition focused).. For example, TB Patient Care (Tracker) in Pakistan, TB Surveillance in Pakistan, and [ Maternal and Child Health Service in Northern Nigeria

You can also checkout these Tracker presentations from previous conferences:

  1. Large scale Tracker systems - #dac2024
  2. Tracker for Health - DAC2024
  3. Good Tracker design principles - #dac2024
  4. and more..↓

There are so many Tracker topics to look into (including very recent ones that are included in dac2026). I’ve customized this search link so you can see the latest with tracker in the title specifically from those who posted in the Implementation channel, click here to view. For example, although this video is from #DAC2022, it still seem relevant (but the idea is to make sure to continue to compare with the latest improvements and technology - some challenges a few years ago might not longer be relevant with the updates): Guidance for implementing tracker at large scale #dac2022.

I hope this helps for a start! Is there anything from the above topics that interests you the most? (or from the Nutrition webpage?)

You’re welcome to continue asking follow-up questions to any of those topics or to create a new topic if you face a challenge not addressed anywhere.

Thanks!
