We (@Pablo_Del_Medico @Felipe_Millacura @atavillchr @juan.espinoza.paho @victorosorio ) are facing an issue related with the language of html generated by this widget.
Do you know if it is possible to “cascade” the language attribute of the “upper” html tag (the one that covers all the webpage) to the html tag of the iframe generated?
Currently, we have set up the dhis2 language to Spanish and the language attribute of the upper level html tag is es
but the language attribute of the html tag of the iframe generated by the widget is en.
Hi @ben , is this app still supported in DHIS 2.40? I’m getting a “405 (Method Not allowed)” error when I try to edit anything after upgrading from 2.39 to 2.40. Thanks!
UPDATE: I got it to work by rolling back to app v1.1.4!

Most likely because USAID recent events, this app might not be maintained and repository is not accessible too.?

We at UiO were not responsible for the Rich Text and Video Dashboard Widget, but as far as we can tell, the US government is indeed no longer maintaining this app. It also does appear that the app versions 2.x have issues with recent versions of DHIS2.
While the copyright for the widget is owned by BAO, it is released under the 3-Clause BSD License, so if someone else wanted to take over maintenance of the app, that should be possible. I can help facilitate that. We do have an interested party who might be taking over maintenance soon.

Hello! I created an updated version compatible with V42 and added multi-language support. This is not official but it can be used since it is publicly available at GitHub - IM-Data-PAHO/dashboard-information-widget · GitHub and the compiled app is available at https://github.com/IM-Data-PAHO/vpd-dhis2-custom/blob/main/dashboard-information-widget/dashboard-information-widget.zip
