Highlights:

  • DHIS2 Impact in Togo: Discover how Togo’s National Malaria Control Program is using the DHIS2 Climate App to integrate climate data (precipitation and temperature) with malaria incidence data. This allows for the creation of an interactive dashboard to optimize the timing of seasonal malaria chemoprevention campaigns at the district level, aiming to reduce infection and death in children under 5.
  • New Video: DHIS2 for Education in Uganda: A new video from the African Population and Health Research Center highlights the collaboration with HISP Uganda and Uganda’s Ministry of Education in using DHIS2 for Education. This initiative supports data-driven management of education programs and aims to improve evidence-informed decision-making through sustainable, locally owned education data systems.
  • Introducing the DHIS2 Stock Data Toolkit: A new DHIS2 Stock Data toolkit has been released to support the management of health commodities and supplies within the DHIS2 platform.
  • copmonthly - May Edition: Stay informed with the latest from the DHIS2 Community of Practice. This month includes a DHIS2 Challenge focused on the new Stock Data toolkit, information on how to get involved in the community, and details about upcoming events.
  • Submissions Open for the 2025 DHIS2 App Competition: The call for submissions for the 2025 DHIS2 App Competition is now open, with a deadline of 23:59 CET on Monday, May 12th. Finalists will have the opportunity to present at the DHIS2 Annual Conference. Questions can be directed to apps@dhis2.org.
  • Developer Community Meetup: Join this month’s Developer Meetup to learn about new features released in DHIS2 version 42 and participate in a brainstorming session on integrating the DHIS2 Android Application with other Android apps using Custom Android Intents.
