The districts of Nampula and Zambézia are currently capturing and analyzing data from the March 3rd Statistical Survey using the EMIS DHIS2 platform. This survey serves as the basis for all planning and management of the country’s education system.
This activity is part of the implementation of the EMIS pilot in the two provinces, supported by SAUDIGITUS, as an initiative of the Provincial Directorates of Education of Zambézia and Nampula and their local partners, Mukalelo Association and UATAF-FC respectively.
This is a significant step towards the digitization of the education data management system, which will ensure improved data quality, timely availability of information for decision-making, and enhancement of sector management processes.
