DHIS2 Disease Surveillance Academy in Dakar this week!

Dear DHIS2 Case-Based Surveillance Community,

The second L2 Disease Surveillance academy is currently underway in Dakar, Senegal. We are more than 50 people coming together from nine West African countries and our global HISP team from UiO, Uganda, Tanzania, India, Vietnam, South Africa and West Africa.

If you were not able to attend this time, there will also be academies taking place in Vietnam and Namibia later this year.

I am also sharing the presentation from a session we had this morning, which highlights our current work on disease surveillance - requirements, software development, capacity building, community involvement and next steps. I hope you find it interesting and please share any comments or questions you may have.
