Dear DHIS2 CBS Community,
HISP Vietnam and the University of Oslo are pleased to announce the DHIS2 Academy, Level 2: Disease Surveillance to be held on February 5 - 9, 2018 at the Novotel Phu Quoc Resort on Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang Province, Vietnam.
This 5 day academy will be an opportunity to:
* Learn how you can leverage the DHIS2 platform to support your disease surveillance needs.
* Discuss relevant use cases with experienced DHIS2 experts from around the world.
* Provide feedback and suggestions to the DHIS2 development team.
DHIS 2 Academy Fee
Accommodation can be included in the registration fees and the options are as follows:
Option 1: Single Accommodation.
It includes: The Disease Surveillance Academy + a single accommodation to be booked for 6 nights at Novotel Phu Quoc resort (check-in Feb 4 and check-out Feb 10)
EARLY BIRD rate: USD 1300 (payment received by December 15, 2017). After December 15, USD 1600
Option 2: Twin sharing.
It includes: The Disease Surveillance Academy + a double accommodation (twin sharing) to be booked for 6 nights at Novotel Phu Quoc resort (check-in Feb 4 and check-out Feb 10)
EARLY BIRD rate: USD 1000 (payment received by December 15, 2017). After December 15, USD 1200
Options 1 and 2 also include:
* Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner from the dinner from Feb 4 to breakfast on Feb 10
* All course material & conference infrastructure
* Coffee/tea breaks during the Academy
* Airport pick-up
Option 3: No accommodation.
It includes:
* The Disease Surveillance Academy without accommodation
* Lunch and coffee/tea breaks during the Academy
* All course material & conference infrastructure
* A welcome dinner gala on Feb 5
* Farewell dinner on Feb 8
EARLY BIRD rate: USD 650 (payment received by December 15, 2017). After December 15, USD 750
We strongly encourage you to stay at the Novotel Phu Quoc Resort. Phu Quoc is an island and there are few hotels within walking distance of the Academy venue. Also, February will be a busy time given the Vietnamese/Chinese Lunar New Year. Distance from Novotel to city center where most hotel and restaurants are located is 12km away.
