'determining your root organisation unit'

Hi,

When wanting to create a 'organisation unit group' the organisation unit tree won't display instead it says "Determining your root organisation unit".

How do I get the organisation unit tree to display? Thanks!

Full bug report:

clearing the cache does not solve the issue. here's the required

information:

  • DHIS2 version: 2.27
(we have been running it with 2.22 with the same server
    settings, and it did work)

  • Web browser including version: Firefox, 55.0.3. (32bit)

  • Operating system including version: Windows 8.1 and 10

  • Servlet container / Tomcat log: Provide any

output in the Tomcat log (typically catalina.out) related to
    your problem. See attached.

  • Web browser console: In the Chrome web

browser, click F12, then “Console”, and look for exceptions
related to your problem. See attached.

  • Actions leading to the problem: Describe as

clearly as possible which steps you take leading to the
problem or exception. 1. I am creating
unit organisations (parent and a couple of others). 2. I
want to create organisation unit group.

  • Problem description: Describe the problem

clearly, why you think it is a problem and which behavior you
would expect from the system. Two
problems: (1) In the organisation units I cannot edit the
parent organisation (see screen shot attached). (2) In the
organisation unit groups, the organisation unit tree is not
displaying, instead it says ‘determining your root
organisation units’ (see screen shot attached).

  • Java Server version:

    1.8.

  • Server version of

    PostGRESQL = 9.6.4.1

  • Tomcat version:

    9.0.0.M26

In addition, we have imported data from 2.22 and it does work, i.e.
the tree shows, but we don’t know if that fixes the issue or what
the problem is what caused it, hence, the issue could come back.

Thanks a lot for your help,

    Astrid

Just a quick thought: Could it be that your user is NOT assigned to an OrgUnit? Or not to the Root? Or assigned to more than one?
