I would to know if deleting a tracked entity from tracker dashboard removes it form the database.

From what I understood in the explanation of Permanently remove soft deleted data values “When a data value is deleted in DHIS2, the system will mark the corresponding database row as deleted, and not actually delete the row.” (read here), to delete a TEI from the database you would have to run the maintenance function in the Data Administration app after a soft delete.
