Data Visualizer - Pivot table download empty - when category options (all) selected in rows [FIXED]

When we create a pivot table in data visualizer app, in 2.38.x or 2.39.x, selecting category options (automatic/all) option, reports get downloaded as empty eventhought it has data in data visualizer.

I was able to simulate this in play dhis2. Below are the steps, just curious do we already have a jira for it, or do we have any work around for it. especially when we have thousands of category options, manually selecting is also not working it selects around 50 items at a time.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to play dhis2 2.38.x or 2.39.x Data Visualizer
  2. Take Anc 1st Visit and second visit as data
  3. Include category option Location Fixed/Outreach - Automatic /all into rows section of data visualizer like screenshot below
  4. Download as xls or csv it gets downloaded an empty report with a header

This has been reported in this Jira bug issue: [DHIS2-15044] - Jira and its status is that it has been fixed and backported. To double check that this issue is fixed in the upcoming stable releases you can try to reproduce the issue here: https://play.dhis2.org/2.39dev :slight_smile:
