We recently upgraded our instance from version 2.38 to 2.40, and the upgrade process was successful. However, we have encountered a challenge with the import and export of data that is currently residing on version 2.31.9.
When we export and import this data into the upgraded version 2.40, we are facing an issue where the data cannot be seen on the dataset. Strangely, during analysis, we can observe the presence of the data. Furthermore, when predictors are generated, the process is successful, but once again, the values cannot be seen on the dataset, though they are visible in the visualization.
We would greatly appreciate your expertise in addressing this matter. Please advise us on the best approach to resolve these data visibility issues and ensure that the imported data is correctly displayed within the dataset.
Would it be possible to create a copy of the 2.31.9 version instance and upgrade it to the same version 2.40.1?
If you’re still facing an issue after importing from the same version, would you please check the error log when using the debug mode and dry run during the import? (are you using the Import/export app?) And if you see any errors in the Catalina.out log please share them.

We have successfully completed the data import, and there are no errors in the process. However, we are facing a unique issue where the imported values are only visible during visualization but not when we open the dataset. This has become a concern for us, and we seek assistance in resolving this matter.

Thank you very much for your valuable input. After performing the clear application cache, we observed that the data imported using CSV format is now accessible. However, we are facing a separate issue with the data imported using JSON format, as it is still not visible in the dataset.
In an attempt to address this, I am currently in the process of exporting one year’s worth of data using CSV format and will proceed with the import to see if it resolves the problem.

I encountered a singular error during the import process, originating from the web. I’ve enclosed a screenshot illustrating that 3 “categoryOptionCombos” could not be located or written due to permission constraints. I had previously executed a permissions query, but unfortunately, the conflict persists.
Upon initiating the import, the process was completed successfully, and the data was indeed imported. I followed the instruction to clear the app cache. However, it has come to my attention that while the data is visible within the Report app under the Dataset Report section, it is not displaying within the data entry app.
Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
