I’m unable to replicate this issue on DHIS2 Play v2.40.3 as I don’t see a Play instance with this version that hasn’t already been upgraded.
In Data Visualiser, when selecting/clicking on a column, or values in a pivot table, the “Change Org Unit” drill up or down option does not appear.
This does not appear to be impacted by the Data Visualiser continuous roll out version at all as I’ve tested this issue with the following Data Visualiser versions 100.4.0 and 100.5.1 (all using v2.40.3).
If I understand correctly, when using the latest Data Visualizer app on v2.40.3 there’s an issue selecting a column but this same exact version on any of the instances on play the issue doesn’t appear?

As far as I’m aware there is not a v2.40.3 of Play, so I cannot replicate the issue on Play
I replicated this issue on other non-Play v2.40.3 servers
