Data Locking

Hi all,

I want to block some DataSets and this is what i’m doing:

1 - Maintenance → Data Administration → Data Locking

2 - Select the periods and DataSet to be locked and one Org.unit at the lowest hierarchy level.

3 - Log in with a very restrictive authorities user (wich belongs to the org. unit selected before)

4 - I can entry data normally…

Any step missing??

thanks!

We have seen similar type of behaviour, although it is transient and
has been very hard to pin down as to what the exact cause is.

Better trawl through the logs and if you see some exceptions related
to data locking, post them.

Also, are you using MySQL or Postgres?

Regards,
Jason

I’m using MySLQ.

There is no exception or message in the log when I lock the data…

I get the “Data Succesfully Locked” screen but seems like nothing happens “inside”

Hi Marta,

In that case, I think you should report this as a bug for 2.5 (since
it was working before).
